About me

I’m Libby Carson, and I work alongside people in some of the most important moments of their lives.

The moments where everything matters — where words carry weight, where emotions sit close to the surface, and where the experience of the day will stay with you long after it’s over.

As a celebrant, my role is more than writing and delivering a ceremony.

It’s about guiding you through the process, understanding what matters most, and creating something that feels right — for you, your people, and the moment itself.

Whether it’s a wedding filled with anticipation and joy, or a farewell shaped by reflection and loss, I bring a calm, steady presence and the ability to hold the space when it matters most.

My background is in leadership, facilitation, and working in complex, people-focused environments. I’ve spent years supporting individuals and teams through high-pressure situations, where clarity, empathy, and good judgement are essential.

That experience carries directly into my work as a celebrant. I know how to read a room, how to gently lead when needed, and how to ensure that everything feels seamless — even when there is a lot happening behind the scenes.

I take the time to listen carefully and understand what you want your ceremony to feel like.

From there, I craft something that reflects you — not a template, not a script, but a ceremony that feels genuine, considered, and personal.

My aim is always the same: that you feel supported, confident, and able to be fully present on the day, knowing everything is taken care of.

I’m based in Wellington and work across the region.

I value connection, clear communication, and creating an experience that feels calm and well-held from beginning to end.

It is a privilege to do this work — and to be trusted with moments that matter so deeply.

If you’re looking for someone who can guide you through your ceremony with care, clarity, and confidence, I’d love to hear from you.
